A month or so ago we received a request from a woman looking for something that she could place in her child’s room.  You see, her son was struggling with nightmares and tormenting dreams.  She believed in the power of Christ to protect her child’s mind and spirit from the attacks of the enemy.  She (and other’s) had him in their prayers, but she wanted something tangible that could be placed in his room, where he could see it and focus on as he went to sleep each night.  The Living Word contains many scriptures that are perfect for such occasion.  My personal favorite is Psalm 4:8 – “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
